That’s how long I was married before my entire life turned upside down.

After divorce, fertility treatments, and an emotional “solo-lo” trip to South Africa, I learned something that changed me forever: sometimes detours are divine—they’re simply invitations for transformation.

So I made a choice.

A choice to rebuild.
A choice to heal.
A choice to create a life even better than the one I was mourning.

For almost two decades, I’ve been a professional hair and makeup artist trusted to help people look and feel their best on camera—working in television, film, with celebrities, and some of the most powerful people in the world.

But the truth is, my brushes are just the vehicle.

I didn’t always live behind the scenes. I started in a lab coat at Hampton University and Johns Hopkins University, pursuing a career in medicine.

But deep down, I knew my work was never going to be just about what people look like—it was always about how they feel.

That belief has shaped everything I do.

Whether I’m behind the chair, on set, teaching a beauty lesson, curating a retreat, or sharing stories from around the world, my mission remains the same: helping women reconnect with themselves and step fully into their next chapter.

That’s the heart behind everything I do now—beauty, storytelling, retreats, and creating spaces where women feel safe enough to grow and transform.
